Claremont Quarter Community Relations

Following the creation of the joint venture development project of Claremont Quarter between Hawaiian and Brookfield Multiplex, an ongoing program of community consultation and liaison has been underway to ensure the project team is aware of local perceptions and expectations in the planning and delivery of the new mixed use heart for Claremont.

A program of community partnerships has also been forged with the following organisations:

Our Community Engagement Policy

Claremont Quarter is committed to establishing strong, long term relationships with the local community and will continue to provide ongoing updates on development works through the use of in-centre signage, local area newsletters, local area press advertisements and via this website.

In addition, Claremont Quarter is looking to develop new and innovative ways to engage the community with the centre through the use of in-centre community displays and activities.

Sponsorships

Claremont Quarter has a nominal budget committed to sponsoring local groups’ initiatives. If your organisation would like to apply for funding, submissions will be reviewed based on the following criteria:

The demonstration of how the organisation and/or activity encourages positive change within the community.
Please clearly detail:

A strategic, well thought out approach to implementing the proposal
A vision for long-term, positive development
Claremont Quarter's potential ongoing relationship with joint sponsors
The organisation's accountability to Claremont Quarter
