Tonya McCusker to host charity event
Claremont Quarter is proud to support the inaugural Ready To Work Cocktail Party at Government House on Wednesday 30 May 2012.
The event is hosted by Tonya McCusker, wife of Western Australian Governor Malcolm McCusker, who will share some of her personal experiences over the last year.
Tonya is a wife, mother, philanthropist and business leader with key administration and board roles for the McCusker Charitable Foundation, Giving West, Lions Eye Institute and the University of Western Australia Hackett Foundation.
Hear Tonya share some special moments around CHOGM, the Queen’s royal visit, moving into Government House and more.
The event will support Ready to Work, a WA charity who assist local women to become financially independent.
Ready to Work was established to support women who are disadvantaged, have a disability and long-term unemployed to enter the workforce. Ready to Work’s services aim to increase self confidence in job interviews through looking and feeling professional, and improve understanding of how to perform in an interview to get that job.
All attendees will go into the draw to win an exciting door prize.
